Heavy Duty DIY Metal Roller Cut File

Cut-ready DXF file package for building a heavy-duty benchtop metal roller / slip roller. Great shop build project for rolling sheet metal, flat bar, or light material. [ WHAT'S INCLUDED ] • Flat-pattern layout for main support side plates, slide tensioner brackets, and alignment washers[cite: 2] • Clean vector lines optimized for CNC plasma and laser cutting [ DESIGN SPECS & MATERIALS ] • Recommended Plate: 1/4" mild steel but I'm sure 3/16 would work too •Adjustable slots to control the severity of the roll • I used a 3/4" bolt with two nuts threaded to the top that fit in the groove so you can weld the nuts to the side plate • There are two cross supports and four gussets to connect the two side plates together • I cut three metal pipe sections, welded a nut to each washer and then welded the washer to the end of each pipe. The washer was cut out of 11ga steel, but the rest was 1/4" • I currently use a ratchet to roll the steel, but I'm sure a low-speed motor or drill could be used.
